MassketchPrivacy Policy
Effective October 17, 2026. Publisher: Individual Entrepreneur Ildar Ildarkhanov.
Massketch is an iPad app for architectural sketching and massing. We do not collect your data: the app has no sign-up, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
Where your projects are stored
Projects, sketches, added images and settings are stored only on your device: in the app's storage and as .massketch files in the Files app. We have no access to them. If you share files yourself — via AirDrop, mail, iCloud Drive or export — they are sent the way you choose.
Purchases
The Massketch Pro subscription is purchased and billed through the App Store. Payment data is handled by Apple; we never receive it. The app checks the subscription status on the device with Apple's StoreKit.
Map services
To show a map, find a place and load city context, the app contacts external services. They receive only what is needed to answer: a search query or the coordinates and bounds of the selected site, plus technical request data (IP address, device type). This data is not linked to your identity and is not used by us for any other purpose.
| Service | Purpose | Policy |
|---|---|---|
| Apple Maps | map, place search, satellite imagery | apple.com/legal/privacy |
| Esri ArcGIS | satellite imagery of the site | esri.com/privacy |
| OpenStreetMap (Overpass, Nominatim) | buildings, trees, roads; place search | osmfoundation.org |
| Amazon Web Services (Terrain Tiles) | site terrain | aws.amazon.com/privacy |
Location
If you tap “My location” in the site picker, the app asks for your location once to show you on the map. It is not stored and is not sent anywhere by the app except as the map request for that place. You can revoke the permission in iPad Settings.
Photos and files
You pick underlay images yourself in the system picker — the app does not get access to your whole photo library. Picked images are stored only inside the project on your device.
Children
The app is not directed at children and does not collect children's data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date.
